What you'll do
Caregiver Responsibilities
Depending on the client's service plan, responsibilities may include:
- Providing companionship and meaningful social interaction
- Preparing meals and encouraging hydration
- Completing light housekeeping and laundry
- Assisting with grocery shopping and routine errands
- Accompanying clients to appointments and community activities
- Providing medication and appointment reminders
- Supporting established daily routines
- Documenting completed services and reporting concerns
- Protecting client privacy, dignity, and confidentiality
Basic qualifications
What We're Looking For
Additional documentation, training, or certifications may be required depending on the position and client assignment.
- At least 18 years of age
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with required automobile insurance when driving is part of the position
- Ability to pass all required background screenings
- Dependable, professional, and compassionate in all client interactions
- Clear communication with clients, families, and supervisors
- Willingness to complete all required orientation and training
- Current CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it when required
